  • Profile: I'm an old anime fan, mostly on the fanfiction/fanart side (see my website for details). I made my first video in March of 2003. I'm very much a minimalist when it comes to making amvs. I watch vids for the anime and the stories, so the vids I make tend to be the same way.

    I use Windows Movie Maker 2.0 and, more recently, PhotoImpression4 and Premiere 6.0. Most of my early videos are mpg format, though recently I've been sticking with xvid, so if you have trouble playing one, check the vid page for instructions or email me and I'll set you up with the proper codecs.

    I'm a firm believer that practice makes perfect, so don't be surprised if I have a large number of amvs - usually they get better with each one as I learn from my mistakes. Anyone bored enough to point those mistakes out to me (so I don't waste time trying to find them myself), please do. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

    There's a warning for content with my vids, which is true for the majority of them. I am a true shonen ai fan, so don't be surprised when you see official 'non-yaoi' anime redone in yaoi format for my viewing pleasure. I started with YYH, but I've tried to keep a variety of anime with my vids. As much as I'd love to do only YYH amvs, it would get old very quickly. And I have a number of others that I want to see specific vids for, so I've no shortage of ideas.

    I'm working on a reference page for bishonen fans, which will allow more organization than my 'favorite vids' list. For now, if you like my vids be sure to check the ones on my favorite list - chances are you'll like them more. I'd also recommend *inverse* for YYH and Fruits Basket fans, and Loveable Neko Kyou for anyone who likes bishonen or shounen ai amvs (she uses a lot of rare series).

    Note: I take amv requests, so if you have a particular pairing/song-anime combo in mind, drop me an email and I'll see what I can do. So far I've only done a handfull of request vids, but I think they've turned out pretty well. ^.~
