We would like that the AMV are most famous in France... We go in conventions often to diffuse a lot of music videos and people enjoy it :-) Every year, in parternship with Japan-Expo, the biggest anime convention in Europe, we organize an famous AMV contest here, THE AMV contest ;-) It'll become international this year...

I make music videos since 2001 ; to the beginning, I edited FF music video just for me (you'll never see the first one, it's too much crappy XD) I didn't know the "AMV"... But one day, in my favorite video game website, I have discover FF music videos edited by a french girl... I though "wow O.O a girl do like me !!!" (simple-minded ^^)
Whatever, I have talk sometime with this girl (Eiko in amv.org) and she told me about www.fantasy-movies.net, a website about the FF series, with a lot of music videos, especiall FF videos... I have purposed my videos and some months later, I have meet the webmaster (Kimono in amv.org) and Xeno~Strike, his ambitious friends ^^ in a big french anime convention. They diffused music videos for the first time... It was a big success... The website become just an AMV website and Xeno, always motivated, wished create an association, an AMV association... Why not ? ^__^
Since this time, we have do a lot of things for music videos in france and convention's organisators are always glad to welcome us, even it was complicated to the beginning...
In Japan Expo 2003, I was 5th to the Japan-Expo AMV contest again with a crappy FF music video ^^ (mea culpa :p) The first was Istiv, with a naruto AMV... I though "damn, my videos sucks !!! ;_; ) This guy was very nice guy, a very good friend now...
In summer 2003, I was sure to be able to create a better video than istiv ^^ I have created an Akira video with a lot of effects, which seemed be very impressive :-D (now I hate it, it's very very horrible to see it !!! This video sucks very much) One week later, Istiv had a new one AMV, "Love United".... "Damn, this guy is just crazy" (one year later, he created the shonen bushido video, I was right :p)
I have taken more time to create music videos and in 2004, Kill Spike and especially Tsumibito no Kashou (thanks FMA) was enjoyed by people... Now I have fewer time to edit but I go edit on and on when I can...
I like the French AMV community and I'm more and more proud of this... It's become more big & more talented every day and it's thanks to us we have now a great french AMV contest...
Istiv, Atvaark, WilLoW ;--), Kragdrim, Roccket, LCY84, Olw, Nostromo, p0d, Smash Link... All this guys are french talented video makers, check their videos... ^_^ Obviously, I admire too a lot of international creators...
