  • Profile: After more than a year on .org, I thought it would be cool to write a little something in my profile description.

    Well, I'm Roccket, member of AMVdefans, a french AMVmaking community (www.amvdefans.com). This "team" has good editors such as p0d, nostromo, olw, lcy84, WilLoW, Atvaark, Wunjo, Dark-Krystal and many more...
    I'm also a proud member of the french association Fantasy Movies (www.fantasy-movies.net #amv-fr @ irc.worldnet.net don't hesitate to come talk a bit with us :) ). This association tries to let people know about AMVs in France, through conventions, contests... and they do a great job for the developement of our community here, so I congratulate them for that :)

    Talking about me, I'm a 19 years old student in university (North of France). I started amv in early 2004 with my Love Hina video. I think my main inspiration for deciding me doing amv came from "evangelion opus" by shonendizzycow, whom incredibly high level of emotions made wanna try to do the same (but I have still a long way to catch the master ^^). Others creators that I appreciated work are Tyler_yj, beowulf, Scintilla, Machine, Atvaark, AbsoluteDestiny... who almost have a constant degree of quality with their productions.

    I'm editing with Adobe Premiere 7.0, virtual dub, sometimes helped by Paint shop Pro or Photoshop, or even After Effects o_O (ye, krazy.) .
