  • Comments: This my fourth AMV, and my best so for.
    I used the song "What it is to burn", by the band Finch, whom lyrics fits perfectely with the character of Tima in Metropolis. I wanted to do an analogy between the lyrics that are about a girl who is "the only one who knows what it is to burn" and Tima, who is literally "burning" in the movie.
    On the top of that, this is a romance video, which deals with the relation between Tima and Kenishi, a relation that can't exist in Metropolis with all the obstacles that it contains : Tima's father Red Duke, Rock...
    This video also shows the immensity of the city of Metropolis, with its huge buildings, its robots... all that make the bigness of the city.

    I had to shorten the song so that I could find adapted sequences to each moment of the lyrics, which I wasn't certain to do with the entire song.
