I'm Tono, I love NGE, and I've been into anime for around six or seven years (I don't remember exactly, I just know that my first was Robotech, which, after revisting it, is STILL GOOD O.o).
I have been making AMVs since June 2004, which makes me a newbie. I'm not afraid to admit it. Since my first release (Samurai X - I hate Everything about you), I've released two more, and I've got one in storage that I'm planning on releasing that I really like (As of August, 11 2004). I recently made a banner and submitted it to see if it was worthy.
I'd simply ask that you check out my AMVs and enjoy them. I hope you leave an oppinion. No one likes someone without a thought in their head ^.^
My favorite anime music video is Synthetic, by /vajin Koji (I suggest you all check it out). The AMV that really got me into AMVs was the anonymous Evangelion one to Engel. I think it would be awesome to be able to figure out who made that, because whoever did is ownage o.o

Fast forward. It's December now, and I've advanced quite a good way. I dropped the idea of uploading that AMV I was so satisfied with because it started just seeming like crap. I've released my best video yet (well, I feel like it's my best video yet) called FullMetal Doubt, check it out and leave an oppinion on how you think it is.
I've got several ideas for new projects to start on, but I don't know which to start with. Eh, I'll figure it out. I might go with the Kaze No Yojimbo one simply because there aren't a whole lot of videos using the anime (which I enjoy, thank you very much) and I wanna get a good one on the board. Eh, I might draw that one out over several months and send it to AWA 11, but I don't know.

Well, it's been about a month since my last update. I got a ton of anime for christmas, and I now have a new favorite anime. It's not unknown, but there are only 3 AMVs for it that I found, and only 1 is available for download. Betterman is a trully awesome show, and has a very nice touch of tragedy once it gets closer to the end. It's not your average Mecha anime. While I wouldn't call it as good as Evangelion, I would say that it's my favorite (because there's a difference between the two). Meh. End transmission. Current date. 1-1-05. And so... A new year starts... and I step closer to my release from high school.

I guess it's time for another update. Well, yet again, it's been about a month. I released Kenshin Unforgiven, which has gotten me some praise and 8 oppinions total so far. I'm more or less happy with it, with the exception of it having a crappy ending. It's not AWA grade, but it IS on the character profile top 10%. I've got to move on to another project soon, and I have an idea. I just need to figure out exactly how to plan it (Using an instrumental song, so it's going to be kinda hard to plan out "ok, this goes here.." without having the music going). School's been a drag, but meh. The only thing I'm having trouble in right now is Alg 2, and that's only because I missed a day. That... well... Grandfather's funeral. Well, gotta get moving. End Transmission. Current Date. 2-9-05.

God almighty, I haven't updated in forever. I'm in college now, and I've still got a few AMV ideas floating around, but I haven't gotten around to editing anything... It's really getting to be a pain. I've been playing guitar more than anything.. I'm musing some ideas. Maybe I'll get something out for AWA... we Shall see. 1-23-07

Time does funny things. It slips away, falling beyond our grasp, and no matter what we do, it's impossible to capture it. It feels like it's been forever, and these shores I walk on now are different, but still the same. I spend most of my time now playing guitar, making beer, and thinking about Economics. I may make another video some day, as the thought crosses my mind around once a month... It's just finding the energy to search through hours of footage and parse out useful clips. I still enjoy AMVs from time to time, and the people I've met here and the things I gained coming here will always be with me. I'm not "leaving", no one ever REALLY leaves. Nothing will ever be what it once was, and that is the nature of the world.
Either way, I'll see you guys at AWA. 6-10-10
