Sakura's love is a battlefield

Post by Castor Troy » Mon May 08, 2006 1:45 am

This is a previously unreleased video that I finished a while ago and finally decided to release it after ACen.

Sakura's love is a battlefield

I showed a few people the beta of this at AX2005 and put it on hiatus for a bit. I finished it back in October and didn't release it till now. This was originally part of AMV HELL 3 (40:04) but I ended up liking the idea so much that I wanted to make a full video to it and Zarxrax gave me his approval.

It tries to be an action, drama, and a comedy video (atomx described it as a "Dramedy") mostly to poke fun at the large amount of Naruto drama videos. I personally think the video is terrible and falls flat on it's face, but I still consider it entertaining.

Well, enjoy :)

Hey, I saw this at ACEN, and negating the unfortunate wonky sound system that plagued all of the poor AMVs, this was decent. I thought it was amazingly awkward, but not necessarily in a bad way. I remember this from AMV Hell 3 also, and it was funny then. As a full video... eh, I'm not too sure. The beat sync was good, but the lip sync got old after a while.

All in all... kind of strange little piece here, but it definitely made me smile. Good job, Castor. ^_^

Oh good, now I can tell everyone why I laughed like a loon when I heard you had sent "that video" to ACen.

Definitely an interesting video. The weird mix of genres kept my attention.

Wow.

That song drug on FOREVER. O.o

Aside from that, the editing was good, and it was enjoyable. And the highest complement I can give it is that it made Narutard seem watchable.
