The long-awaited (wait... was it really...?) Project FMV MEP.
The concept is simple (and outlined in the thread, come to think of it) - I love videogames. I had never seen a multi-editor project done with just VG source before (the VG projects don't count - they had quite a bit of anime as well). So, because I had the idea and I was sick of being in MEPs that were failing, I decided to start my own. At the time, this was both my first time editing in and coordinating a MEP, so I still had some n00b kinks to work out. I'd like to think that I've gained a lot of experience, and I hope it will show in future multi-editor projects that I'm involved with.
But enough about me. You're here for the video! The info below is exactly what is in the credits reel for the project, so no discrepancies, let's hope.
Intro/Track 01 - 00:00-01:43
Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams
Apocalyptica - "Path"
Comments: my first shot at editing anything remotely close to action. Came out okay, but I have to say that the FMVs are a lot more fun (and easier) to work with than those in-game cutscenes. Meanwhile, my HD is just glad to have thirty gigs of Onimusha 4 off of it. There're, like, seventy scenes in that game! Seriously! (That's more than any of the Final Fantasies, if memory serves, FYI.)
Track 02 - 01:43-02:44
Final Fantasy VIII
James LaBrie - "Undecided"
Track 03 - 02:44-04:10
Resident Evil 4
Dream Theater - "Stream of Consciousness"
Track 04 - 04:10-05:21
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII
Siam Shade - "Bloody Train"
Track 05 - 05:21-06:06
Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht
Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Böse
Xenosaga Episode III: Also sprach Zarathustra
Masaru Shiina - "Snow Castle"
Track 06 - 06:06-07:40
