Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Effects: - 3/5
Comments: Hmm. Neon Genesis Evangelion was a great ment up for the anime used in the previous slot, thats for sure, but it would have been kinda better if you had used transisions only. The effects didn't really scream out to it. Loved the way Rei was gettin eaten up by the angel with the eva on the background, but other other effects were kinda lame, or rather, put me off. Especially the Red Tints which faded to green ones. Even the stretching of Kaoru was kinda ... :? ish. From what I've seen in your previous vids, you could have done much better, but on the whole it was good. ( thats a 3.5 outa 5 :) )
I'm glad you enjoyed my part. Just so you know, I did make this right after Blue Skies, if I had made it now, it may have been better. But I'm happy you still enjoyed it.

Raxephon.
Anime Selected: (Whether I would have chose this anime or not.) - 5/5
Effects: - 10/5 << (I do mean it)
Comments: How long have you been working on this? It was breath taking, seriously. The timing was excelent, the feeling and mood of the song matched perfeclt. When the choir came in, and the girl sang, a shiver ran down my spine. The effects were extremely great. Wonderful piece of art we have here :D ( thats a greatly earned 5 outa 5  :o :D )[/quote]

Let me just say somethin about this, funny you loved it so much and felt it must have taken long, because Valerie came in as a replacement and had to make the video in, what was it...about, one week or so (or atleast completed it in a couple days). But I do agree, it was awsome! Good work, everyone!

The RahXephon was easily my favorite part. I was not partial to the DBZ part because some the editing seemed...sloppy. Overall, an ok project.

actually, from what i know, a lot of the original editing from the segments that the people in the project submitted got somewhat screwed up. because themaan here told people to submit 29.97 fps segments, and for the final video he compressed it in 23.976. And since my segment was progressive 29.97fps, the motion screwed up, bleh

Sorry didn't like it that much, for me it was the song that ruined it. Just not my type of song I suppose. Also The Duel Matrix part, oy whoever did that big blob in the middle ugh It was a bit annoying.

It was pretty good. But it could have been loads better. Take out a lot of the effects, get rid of the interlacing, and I'd respect it more.
