Content of my opinions...
Well, I wasn't sure if this was really forum-worthy, but I figured I'd give it a shot.
When I write an opinion, I take it very seriously. I follow a strict format, but I also like to personalize them a bit. For those of you who have received an opinion from me, you'll recognize it as such:
"Before I begin, I'd like to make the following comments, which IN NO WAY impact on your scores (except Re-viewable). 1. <some comment about the anime, if I liked it or if I know it> 2. <some comment about the song, ""> 3. <some comment about if I've seen videos from you before, or if I liked another one of yours...also, sometimes a comment regarding my anticipatory reaction before watching the video> 4. If there is a four, it's usually something totally random, or an inside joke. Lately, it's been filled by apologies to those that I made wait so long for an opinion I owed them. Anyway, onto the review!"
Well, what I want to know is this: does anyone even care about that info? I've been considering just dropping that section altogether, because none of it really pertains to the video itself. Yet, I thought that some people might like to know where I stand before I give the opinion. I mean, if people know I hate a certain anime prior to watching their video with that anime in it, that's a good thing, right? They'd know that that two on Re-viewable is just a personal thing, for example.
Anyway, what are your thoughts? Does personalizing opinions like that make them better or worse?

I wouldn't cut that section out, but if you don't want it where it is, you can move the entire thing down to the 'reviewable' section. Everything you've mentioned has to do with with what sort of viewer you are, whether or not you liked the video, and why you would or wouldn't rewatch it.
I'm used to getting one-sentence reviews that consist of 'liked/hated it', so I expect personal content - I wouldn't want a review that was just 'good capture, okay sinc, bad effects, average reviewable, good overall' - with nothing about how the video actually struck the viewer (liked, didn't like, maybe a word on why). The most detailed review possible must contain something about the emotional response of the viewer (or lack thereof) or it's not an opinion of the video, just a grading of it. 'Grading reviews' are good for new editors who want tips, but they're not feedback for someone who wants to know why a person liked or didn't like the video.

I think if you do a decent job of explaining the scores then it's redundant.
If you want to include 'how you review' but don't want to put it in to the actual review then you might consider just putting in a link to a description of how you do your reviews. You can make it as detailed as you like, in that case.

Well... most days and after showing my work to friends and other people I know, I can sort of see the shortcomings of my video already. So telling me that my video was good because "the audio edit was awesome", or that it sucked because of "the screen divide effect" don't really get to me much anymore when I receive them from OPs... I've just heard them already, is all...
So in that regard, I'm more pleased when the reviewer actually writes about how they had or had not enjoyed the video, more than their breakdown of the scores.
I don't listen to advices anyway

I think its good to personlize your opinon, it makes it more personal, and I usually enjoy reading your opinons for that reason. if its just cut to the chase, good/bad with no personalization, then it becomes just the same as most other random reviews. Ofcourse its your choice, I think you should only do it where you feel like doing it, but your question was is it usefull or desired, and my answer to that is yes ^^.
