I've been on a bit of a hiatus for the last 4 years or thereabouts. Got married. Have a wonderful son. Moved across the country twice. It all makes for less time to edit. Of course, the fact that I lost my main editing rig due to hard drive failure might have a bit to do with that too...
Still find myself coming up with concepts, though. Perhaps in 2012 you'll see my attempt at a triumphant return (well, a return of some sort, I never considered myself all that triumphant...).
About the videos:
I started making videos in August, 2005. I didn't join this site until October, though. Starting with "Silent Ronin," I pumped out videos like mad through the end of '05, then realized that good editors take their time and don't publish their rough drafts. LOL
2006 was the year of the learning curve. I think I made some major improvements that year, both with the overall editing and the technical encoding/distribution aspects. There are many, many people here on the org and off that I have to thank for that. '06 was also the first year I took home any sort of awards for my work.
