Holy ZOMG ^.^

The coolest thing ever happened - my video "Through Aeris's Eyes" got put on CrackTheSky's blog. Wait, before you leave my thread, hear what they have to say

True, "Through Aeris's Eyes" isn't exactly new (I made it March last year) but it didn't get put up 'til 7 months later...which was 6 months ago. But it might as well be a new video since nobody's heard about it. There are a bazillion AC videos to filter through and nobody can find this one for all the others.

And I'll admit it too - when downloading videos, if it says 'romance' or 'sentitmental' I usually skip over it because they have a tendancy of being slow and boring. But not this video! If you love FF7, then you'll be crying at how good this video is. And if you don't like FF7, then you can go away or I'll shall taunt you a second time...no wait, what? I mean, the video is pretty self-explanitory, so if you don't know FF7, this video will show you everything you need to know.

But don't believe me - see for yourself!!!

Dude.... just don't, okay? I'm not in the mood to hear flameage (onoz teh flamez! @_@) I'm just afraid your post will encourage people to purposely flame me (and at this point, my lil' bro pretends to pull out a flamethrower. Such a smart alleck!

Anywho, I couldn't think of a better thread name. I knew if I named it FFVII AC So&So, nobody'd look at it b/c there's too many AC vids. So I just knocked it down to what it is - a video that will make you cry (w/ sadness or happiness, your choice, I don't care which). So back to your point - I shouldn't title threads like that. Thanx, I'll remember that in the future. Until then, um... I have no idea. I suppose this thread will keep the same name. It's fine with me.

I dont know about cry...but it was pretty good. Couple things though.

I realize one video source you had is 16:9 and the other is 4:3? but why not just make the whole thing 16:9? There are effects even available for WMM to change 4:3 to widescreen, and im not talking about just switching it to 16:9, as I know that streches out 4:3...but there are .xml codes for effects you can get that solve that problem.

Also, i see it in so many videos, and its not hard to take off, The Divx logo? Why? Just right click your divx logo in your taskbar, and click the check next to Divx watermark. Waalaaa...I use to do the same thing, and someone from here told me awhile ago how to take it off, and its been off since. It really distracts from the video, and im sure some people dont finish the video after they see it pop up the first time

I haven't watched this video yet. It's WMV, it's Final Fantasy... BUT.... It's Dream Theater. A song I'm excessively familiar with. So yeah, I'll let you know what I think once it's done.

T'was Ok. Some things moved a bit too fast, others a bit too slow, overall it worked. Honestly, though, if I were to cry over this, it'd be because of the song... because that's a damn good song.

I really don't know what Crack have seen in this vid cuz I personally find this pretty boring.
Well - when vocals starts its not that bad (though the synchro to lyrics is too literall for my taste.), but before that happens it was soo boring :<..
I mean - the introduction part lasts for 1 minute 40 seconds, and for first minute nothing really happens. If you would edit the audio here, and cut 1:10 from the begining of the song, and leave only 30 seonds long introduction it would look a lot better. Also that would make vid easier to swallow cuz 4:20 and 5:30 is a big difference

In the main part t he pace is ok, the synchro also isn't bad and the mood is noticable, though it's impact is diminished by too literall lyrical synch. At some scenes I felt like it didn't fit the story but was just thrown to cover some lyrics part.

The divx logo, and scene made of pixells didn't help the vid either.

Or, if you have an older version of the DivX codec that doesn't produce an icon in the systray, go to the decoder options from the Start Menu and disable the logo there.
