Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Kingdom Hearts on Acid
It's my first video SINCE I've joined the org and I thought I'd try something a little more experimental (at least for me).

That's weird. It's just regular Xvid. I wonder if anyone else is having that problem.
ATTENTION: If you download the video and it doesn't work please either leave a post on this thread or send me a PM. Thanks.
Also, the vid does start off with a blank screen that lasts for several seconds. That was on purpose.
Thanks for the tip, omega!

Oh and if you do have a problem playing it, try downloading and installing the latest Xvid codec from here:
http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/
Once installed, go to Programs->Xvid->Configure Decoder and check all boxes under FourCC.
Hope that helps

lol sorry dj if I seemed impatient. I've been home sick today and had nothing better to worry about. lol.
And Devilmay, I really don't know what happened to the quality. I recorded the footage with my capture board via S-Video input in MPEG-2 at 12 Mbps/sec (basically 50% higher quality than DVD), converted it into uncompressed video and pulled it into the editor. The footage looked great at this point (all considering). When I was done with the project, I saved it as an uncompressed AVI. However, when I pulled it into VirtualDub it looked as though it had been re-compressed at some point. I'm not sure what went wrong.
And I'm glad you liked the "One of these days..." part. lol. When I first heard the song that part about gave me nightmares so I wanted convey that same feeling.
Thanks for the feedback!
