I haven't seen any AMG, but I still enjoyed it. Nice job

Er... guess I'm gonna be the one to break the circle of praise (not that praise is a bad thing; you earn it fair and square).
Personally, I really didn't enjoy this very much. I mean, the editing was great, as was the concept. It's just... I don't know. Maybe I don't like the song...? Whatever it is, something with me just didn't click on this one. Oh well. You're a terrific editor, Nessie. I'll just have to wait for the next release from you.

Being the romatic that I am, I can;t beleive its taken me this long to notice this thread. I loved this video. The song is nice, the footage is beutifull, the editing is smooth and profesional, And most importantly, it blended together seamlessly to tell a touching story.
I am a fan of this series, (The OVAs) and you've just made a OVA belldandy fanboy very happy

Whenever my copy arrives, I'll have to analyze it. But since it is on 3 DVDs, there is a very good chance that they are using the same DVD masters for the video as the R2s.LantisEscudo wrote:I got mine yesterday, and though I don't have the R2s to compare to, this version's video quality is light-years better than the first release. Well worth the money.

Thanks! and yes, it was a little shameless, but hey, what can ya do? o:Otohiko wrote:Sweet! And I mean this in the other way from the usual "Sweet \m/"![]()
Being a long-time fan of the OAV, I approve. It's good to see it being done in the simpler, more love-oriented and less conflict-oriented interpretation.
The video quality was really nice, and if not "uber", I can tell it's a good step up from the source. The "photographs" thing was really shameless. Shameless enough to be a bit of a distraction, but I can understand that you didn't exactly have much else in the way of options, and it'd be dumb to ignore that line.
Nice work, a keeper this is
yay!IcyCloud wrote:Really enjoyed this one, Liz. I'm not usually that into romance vids, but yours was very well done. Your IC vids are good, and your full-length vids are even better.
Why you gotta hate me so much Jen? What did I ever do to you? huh?dj_ultima_the_great wrote:Er... guess I'm gonna be the one to break the circle of praise (not that praise is a bad thing; you earn it fair and square).

Japan! hehe, I used the Region 2's with some cleaning scripts for the vid, courtesy of Atom ^_^ I don't know if the remastered version will be the same or not...Bakadeshi wrote:Where can I get those DVDs!? It was hard to tell the difference between the movie and the OVAs, that was awesome!

Just got my hands on the new remastered R1s, and they definately look alot better. My DVDs seem a tad bit softer than your footage, but you probably filtered them and I compared in Power DVD, so difference in players/Codecs could also be effecting it.
Anyway I can confirm that the Collectors editiion is a step up from the previous ones.
