Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

LMAO!!!

The Angelic Layer OP song with X TV. As a partial CLAMP fanboy, I approve!!! The quality is freakin' godlike and does justice with X TV. :D

Beautiful quality, well done, it certainly brought a smile to my face, but not quite laugh out loud good. I haven't seen Angelic Layer. nor am I a Clamp fanboy, but, still awesome. Even those in a Haruhi universe thought so.

You were at ACen? You should've met the rest of the editing crowd.
Believe me, Flint, I wanted to. That was half of the reason I went to ACen. Let's just say I was prevented by a... conflict of group interest. As such, next year I'm adopting the policy of "You go here, I go there; let's meet up in an hour."

Anywho, tryth, I got this. I was worried that my compy would play it all choppy and stuff, since it's a tad too slow for the newer containers, but it played just fine, thankfully. I have to say... I actually giggled a few times during this. The complete absurdity of the concept makes it funny in that "WTF! W. T. F. XD " kind of way. Subtitling was right on (although if this were a real fansub, I'd be whining about how small the text is). The video quality (especially in relation to the filesize) was awesome. I agree with angelx03, too - it's so nice to see a video that lets X live up to most of its quality potential. Oh, and the - what's it called again? - rotoscoping was done very well. I didn't notice the telltale ragged edges, or, on the flip side of that, any thick black borders. It just looked clean... the way it's supposed to.

Anyway, overall, this was a neat little video. I guess your audience really would make a difference in this case, but that's why it's nice to be able to put stuff like this on the .org after a convention. On this site, you can almost always manage to find someone who fits the bill. In this case, me. Convenient, eh? ^_~

Nice work. 5/5, and I'm totally not bullshitting you on that, tryth. I mean it.

Definitely -- hooray for the intarwebs :P

Also, just tangentially related: the fact that CLAMP is going to Anime Expo this year is something that I find too funny.

Thanks :)

I think you can do this by mixing any two (or three, or ...) CLAMP works, but I'm really not sure. (Well, I mean, CLAMP mixes their own works, so.)

Win for Haruhi reference :)

haha this was great :D

amazing how everything worked without looking out of place. You might actually fool some unsuspecting naive anime fan that might not know about X and angelic layer before hand. (though thats a bit hard to beleive, especially conserning X)

I would love to see clamps reaction if they did see this play
