I think it's sig material regardless of whether it's a word or not. It paints a clear picture. Which isn't necessarily a good thing.

I can see what people are saying about this being a surreal experience. I thought this kind of thing was limited to fanfic.

Was it wrong that I found the two of them dropping to the floor like sacks of potatoes slightly amusing? The Sasuke/Naruto kiss* got a bigger wtf from me than the rape scene, 'cause I was expecting that from the lyrics.

The way you draw hair hanging in front of people's eyes is beautiful. The thick lines worked really well there. The editing itself was top-notch, especially the bit where Kurama ends up standing in front of Inuyasha.

*Upon further rewatch I see that Naruto's just cradling him. Well, I recognise that shot from a few AMVs. I thought it was slashy then.

I laughed a lot the first time I watched that part of the vid. I don't think there's a way around that being absurd. I've seen anime do it, but it wasn't something I could mimic without it looking silly. ^_^;

Yeah, I wanted Naruto because of the youko (Kyuubi) connection to Kurama. But they're so young I was aiming for a 'chaste' kiss at the very most. The 'holding' scene was snagged from the anime - I thought it was slashy, too, but you should see them kiss in the anime if you think the holding scene was bad (it's in like the 3rd episode).

Well, I arrived late to the party, but I'm here.

That was...different. In a good way. Let's see...a breakdown would be good, I think...

Stuff I Liked
- the concept. You really put everything into this one. Any less, and it would have been a dismal failure.
- the timing. It was absolutely solid, but, then again, I expect nothing less from you.

Stuff I Was Iffy About
- the yaoi. Don't get me wrong. I'm a huge yaoi fan, but this video just didn't "do" it for me. And I mean that in the cleanest way possible... ^_^;;
- the artwork. Again, don't misinterpret me here. You're a perfectly good artist, but there were times when it just didn't look right. It was with proportions, mostly, and near the middle of the video that I noticed it the most. The Naruto stuff was right on, however. It looked really good.

Stuff I Didn't Like
- the parody/serious effect. I didn't know whether to take this seriously or laugh. That really bothers me with a video. I like a definitive theme, and this project just didn't deliver that.
- okay, this last one isn't your fault. I hadn't seen any of the anime, so, to me, it was just a bunch of semes and ukes playing about in a video - which isn't necessarily bad. It's just not something I cared for in this instance.

The long and the short of it (no perv pun intended), is this: the concept was awesome, the execution was great, but I'd just rather stick to fanfics. As much as I'd like to see guys banging each other, I'll live with using my imagination.

So, kickass job. This is definitely an interesting step in a new direction for you, and if you ever decide to do a video like this again, I hope to see it.
