HAH.

Never thought there would ever come a day...

Mmm..the taste of serious FLCL.
Although it did not appeal as much to me as, say, Dueling Videos or Eva Bepop, this was definitely an awesome video.
Some of the scene selections you chose felt somewhat awkward, but I'm assuming thats due to the footage lackage.
Interesting/great job
Lurid Enchantment - ICYCLOUD
urban suite - TRYTHIL
大切な思い - BAKADESHI
Expansion - RESK

You have earned yourself 5 stars, good sir! I loved this AMV! I am a big fan of FLCL and drama, so you can understand my thoughts on this. :)

I just watched this and must complement you, instead of capturing FLCL's chocolaty outershell as most would, you dug depper to the caramel goodness that is Fooly Cooly, a deep, thought provoking look into the relationships of a little boy as he is thrown into a world of love, chaos, and the question: Does acting adult really make you more of one, or must you be true to who you are to truely be adult. Now I gotta go and leave an opinion, you really deserved it.

That's good to hear. :) Not having done a completely serious video before, I didn't know if it would have the desired effect.

"If I had to chose between an all expenses paid dinner at the fanciest restaurant in L.A. and watching this video, I'd have to think about it, then I'd watch the video."
It's been my experience that dinners at fancy restaurants are overrated. :P

I hope you don't mind that I put this quote on the video's info page.

Really now? To be honest, that wasn't one of my favorite parts...

But of course, <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... 36840">you already know all about that</a>. :)

Yeah, pretty much. I was quite annoyed when I realized that Naota only cries once in the entire series... I could have really used some more of that.

Thanks :) ... I've always said that the reason FLCL is one of my favorites isn't just the comedy and all that, but more so the deeper story that lies beneath... and I feel I've accomplished what I wanted to with this video if I can bring some of that depth out.

To everyone who's replied: Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
I wasn't expecting such a great response to an Evanescence video; once again I'm surprised...

Awesome video. You now officially have a full fledged fan. Everything you make is high quality, and I'm going to keep track of every release you make.

Ten thumbs way up. I will support this as best serious video for next year's VCAs.
