What genre anime do you prefer?

I like a little bit of everything, though most of my collection features romance and fantasy.

anything with alot of blood, guns, death, rage, cussing, and saddness is good for me, an anime that perfectly fits this description would be Phantom of Inferno

i watch all sorts... but leaning more towards action comedy

Robots big and small, drama, space operas, and anything that makes you think.

I'll watch most anything, but I tend to lean towards dark and depressing anime. I also like action quite a bit too alomg with comedy. I don't really like romance at all.

Romantic comedy like Love Hina, or Ai Yori Aoshi, and light drama like Haibane.

I love action and romance animes. I really love it though when you have a great action story, but a little romance that is going on throughout the show to help bring it along. Those shows I really like.

I enjoy Powerful anime (no, not how much damage is caused in the show).

If a show can instill powerful emotion in me, then they are doing a good job of communicating the story/emotion/mood of the show that the artist/directors want. Which, in my opinion, is where the good shows are.

Then there is the Azumanga Daioh. Which I love dearly just because and if it makes me laugh my ass off - that's good too.

My fav is fear.

I only ever saw one horror anime, and it was DAMN scary (well....to a 12 year old)

Of course, that was way way back in the day when they had Saturday Anime on the Sci Fi channel.
