need help w/ premiere!

i just got adobe premiere 6.5 and its completely different from vegas 4.0!
is there a kind soul that is wiling to help me out? im me or something

I believe this belongs in the Video Software Help part of the forum...Anyway, did you try reading the manual?

My advice is to just practise a lot with it. Luckily for me, I went from Windows Movie Maker to Premiere, so the video layout was pretty much the same. Maybe you should take a look at WMM if you're having trouble, just to help you learn the layout. Probably won't help much, but it's just a suggestion.

Why did you move from Vegas? I heard it's so much better. But yeah it's best to just practice with it until you get it.

you think so? my friend keeps telling me to stay with vegas too. he says im the master at that lol i dont know...maybe i should stay with vegas

Get the Classroom in a book series it has everything you need, to go from newbie to amateur.

Actually, it's one of the better books out there for learning premiere, and will take you through all the basics, as well as some advanced technique.

If it's any consolation, Premiere is pretty easy to use once you get the hand of it. I started using it in April, and I can do pretty much anything in it now.
