Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I don't think it has anything to do with desynching, since the MGS3 track is definitely spot on.

I just get the sense that the RE4 is missing a certain something, though I don't know what. But hey, if everyone else likes it, whatever.

It is off my friend, especially at the glows O:
=P It was the MP4 encode, I don't want to say my syncing is 100% perfect, but the mp4 I made of my track is definetly more on spot like the track in the mep DX

btw the mgs track is also slightly off, I see that cause I watched some betas of it and I have the final encode from masterGT's track here =P

I also felt that the Star Ocean track was off....

I mean I notice the offset of the sync through the mep from time to time, but I don't mind it...... <.<

Jen maybe you missplaced a track a little?

Pretty enjoyable MEP though I haven't played the majority of the games shown.
Scott's track was the best for me since I'm also a diehard fan of all Resident Evil games...I still have to finish RE4 though,I'm stuck on Krauser's fight :D :D

Anyway, the MGS track was also very good.Congratulations to everyone that participated guys!!

I realize this is quite the necropost, but since I completely forgot to say what I thought about it I figure I might as well do it now before the thread gets locked.

I liked it a lot. Pretty much every segment had some redeeming quality for me, and overall the project was an enjoyable one. The biggest problem throughout the MEP was that it really just began to get stale about halfway through. Pretty much every segment was the same as the one before it (with the exception of Kit's...I dunno if it was SUPPOSED to be funny, but I lol'd several times) - random action set to generic metal. I dunno, it just felt like the MEP could have had so much more variety but each and every segment seemed to involve dark, grimy cites where random sword/gunfights were taking place.

The editing was solid, the mixing was very good, and the quality was above average for the most part (the Metal Gear Solid one was waaaayyy overfiltered), but there needed to be more to separate one track from the next (and it looks like FMV 2 could very well accomplish this).

Overall, nice job. I give it 3.5/5

Yo, Crackerz... actually, your necro gave me a chance to post something else, but I didn't particularly feel like bumping this thread myself to do it, so it's all good.

Basically, for those of you that were waiting for an XviD, as well as a possible re-encode of the .mp4 to fix some of the desync that seemed to pop up, please know that I haven't forgotten about that. I've just been busy with getting my new laptop up to speed, since I only have this month to get it ready to take back with me to college. So, I haven't had much time to do encodes. Rest assured, though, you'll see both the XviD and potentially a replacement for the h.264 before February rolls around.

Apologies for not responding to the last few posts, but I didn't really have anything specific to say other than thank you for all of the feedback, folks. ^_^
