Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Not knowing who or what that is, I have no idea what else to say but what I've already said.

Okay, both of you, stop where you are. This will NOT turn into an elitist/egotist flame war.

Rageos, the truth is that replies come very slowly on this forum - sometimes, not at all. It all depends who is browsing at what time and on what day. This is Sunday afternoon (for most of the forum regulars - for some it's nighttime, or other times of day). Many people are out doing other stuff right now and may not have even checked the site at this point.

The point is that your video has been up for - what? - four, five hours? If you're expecting to have pages of replies by now, then you have to realize that that's just not realistic.

As for me, I watched your video, and I didn't like it at all. The video quality was horrible, and I saw virtually no cuts in your video. I basically saw three long scenes that ran for the entire duration. I'm sorry to have to say that, but it's the truth. However, there are plenty of guides on the site that can help you get better, and I hope you'll take the time to read them.

I agree with Jen. There were a lot of things that I could pick about. But the major things: The only thing that's more distracting than subtitles, are subtitles that are so small, I can't even read them. Now I'm trying to read them just because they are there, and that means that I'm not really paying attention to the video as much as the subs. I had a bad feeling when I saw the it was a 5 mb wmv, and the quality was majorly lacking. I would have liked to see more syncing and editing, large chunks out of an ep isn't going to return ground breaking results.
