  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

That was exactly one of the things I tried to do in this video... I tried to make sure I wasn't just repeating the same kind of thing over and over. I'm glad I was able to pull it off. :)

Really? The song was a CD rip...

 Awesome, I hope that means my effects looked natural.

I feathered the edges around the cutouts in Photoshop mainly because of the black background the cutouts were going to be on. The black made any pixels that were still around the edges show up a lot more, so feathering the outline was a quick solution to that problem. Also, in most cases it helped the picture blend into the background a lot more, and it also created a certain mood that I wanted. The very last scene of the forehead protector was a also a cutout on a black background, but I didn't feather the edges of that one mainly because I didn't want the same mood for that scene as I did for the ones in the beginning.

512x384 is the same ratio as 640x480, so it's still fullscreen. I made it slightly smaller to give the video a smaller filesize. I did try to make it 640x480, but to get the video to be under 100 MB I had to decrease the bitrate quite a bit (since the video is so long), so while the bigger resolution made the lines sharper, there were pixels everywhere. :)

I get that its same ratio oviously. But I see what you mean. You did awesome job compressing it as well ^_^. 84 MB for 6 minutes is awesome!

Nice job buddy - Tec

That was a totally awesome video. ^_^ It did hurt my eyes with the blurs and flashes mixed like that, but I have that problem with a lot of vids. It's worth a little pain to see the footage and timing...and the song's not bad, either. ;p

hehehe... I still hold the record, 62 megs for 6:37 ;p Ofcourse, AR2 has alot of blurry and dark scenes, so its cheating a bit ;p

Anyway, video came out great silvermoon, I liked the changes from the beta. Though Naruto's fight at the end still kinda seems out of place to me. But a minor nitpick. Great editing and story telling (which I've come to expect from you anyway ;p) As I said when I first watch the beta, This is the best sasuke profile I've seen yet.

Oh trust me, I would of done the same thing, its just the only thing I could notice that I did not like somewhat were the possible cut outs around 45-55. It was the only MINOR thing I noticed. I dont want it to seem like I dont love this video because of it. I love a lot of your videos and this one is one of my all time favorites from you. So again, nice work and I hope people actually watch naruto now because of this 8-)

the link doesn't seem to want to work for me looks like a database error, it says the video does not exist and there are some mysql lines above it.
