[average 119.3 of 231965 opinions; standard deviation 432 ] - Profile: I first became addicted to AMVs when I was given one about four years ago. At the time I was only into DBZ on Cartoon Network. When I saw the AMV (a Neon Genesis Evangelion music video) I knew right away that it was WAY better than DBZ, no matter how addicting DBZ was. Thus I searched for more, finding this I downloaded a lot of AMVs. I started doing some videos for my church. I wasn't able to figure out how to do some cool stuff, so I started trying stuff. I didn't care too much about if the file got destroyed. So I started with some AMVs I had of Final Fantasy 9, thus my first video I made was my FF-IX video which I still have for download. It's actually not too bad, if I do say so myself, for a first AMV anyway.
I wish there was a way that the creator could rate the video they made, but I would say that the FF-IX video might have been better than some of my DBZ videos which I just threw together. I now have quite a bit of experience and my "Second Generation" AMVs (which I have listed on my website) are now finally showing some quality that I haven't had in the other first generation AMVs. They are also starting to show, not only the music and animes that I actually like, but also some of my own personality.
I only have a few second generation AMVs right now, but I am sure I am working on one while you read this. I have quite a few recent ones I have made, but more are right around the corner. And I hope I will be able to make them as good as possible!
I look forward to sharing my AMVs with everyone and watching everyone else's
MY FAVORITE AMV THAT I HAVE MADE (AS OF November 21, 2003) IS: ESCAFLOWNE, WEEZER "ONLY IN DREAMS". YOU SHOULD CHECK IT OUT!
My favorite AMV that I have seen (as of November, 2003) is: The first one I saw: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ramstein "Engel". That one is way cool, with some of the best lip sync and action I have yet to seen be equaled!
