The anime club preseneted a special day completely devoted to anime music videos. The boy attended Anime Expo 2001 and witnessed the best AMV contest that convention has ever provided. From that day on the boy became very inspired to make his own Anime Music Videos in hopes of one day winning an award. Unfortunatley the boy had very bad luck when it came to copmuters and only got to make videos at his Graphic Arts class. He also had a really crappy computer that would freeze for no reason at all. He only got to make 6 videos and only 3 of them were good in his eyes. One he even submitted to the AMV contest but unfortunatley got rejected. If that wasn't bad enough, he wasn't able to make anymore since his computer was sucking more and more everyday and he wasn't able to upload the ones her already had completed. He was eventually forced to save up and build a new one. But he had trouble fincacially. He eventually went crazy and took over the world. Then he woke up and realized he was still on that last sentence. Don't worry, when his new computer is done, you'll get to experiecne his old and new videos. Then his old computer will die a slow miserable death.
Eventually he got a new computer that actually worked. Then by a stroke of luck, his dad got a new computer as well that allowed him to edit videos. However he still did not own a video capture card and was forced to rip DVD's to make AMV's. However now he is mostly at peace and was even a semifinalist at the AMV Contest of Anime Expo 2006.

Movies are a bit more complicated. I put Studio Ghibli movies on a pedastool above pretty much everything else, so because of that I'm excluding them from the list because there's not a single Ghibli movie that I don't like. I also count Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro becuase although it's not a Studio Ghibli film, it was written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. But for the record, my favorite movie ever is Princess Mononoke with Nausicaa' of the Valley of Wind and Whisper of the Heart as runner-ups. However I think the greatest anime film ever made is Grave of the Fireflies. As for anime movies that are not from Stuidio Ghibli:
1) Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion
2) Akira
3) Ghost in the Shell
4) Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door
5) Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence
6) Metropolis
7) Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade
8) The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
9) Millennium Actress
10) Perfect Blue
Runner Up: Jungle Emperor Leo
Manga
1) Genshiken
2) Nausicaa' of the Valley of Wind
3) Death Note
4) Buddha
5) Dragon Ball
