  • Profile: Born and raised in the northeastern USofA, I didn't encounter anime much (this was before the huge invasion launched after the success of Pokemon). I loved Transformers when I was a kid but had no idea that it was this thing called anime, I just thought it was a really rockin commercial for my favorite toys (GO BUMBLEBEE!).

    I first got into the genre when I saw Project A-Ko on the Sci-Fi channel one Saturday. I was flipping through channels and it caught my eye. I couldn't look away, it was so different, funny and 80s that I wanted to see more. I rented Ninja Scroll the following weekend and ever since I've been in a steady downward spiral.

    Slacker Studios set me up with some software long ago, but I just coudn't stick with video editing. I'd much rather work on 2-D effects and art. You can see my photoshop work in SICI.
