-Me-
I'm nobody really, I only discovered anime this summer, on vacation with my best friend. She got me into it by insisting I watch Trigun, and thankfully I gave in, because seeing that one show encouraged me to get into other anime's. ^_^ I believe strongly in life and making everyone happy, because when I see a depressed person....for some reason it just really ticks me off! o.0? I love all kinds of music, including Yellowcard and Linkin Park, and a bunch of songs and bands that nobody's ever heard of. ^_^ I love to read Shonen Jump and draw. I actually just submitted a Naruto drawing to them....I really hope they put it in their fanart section! -crosses fingers- My fav. anime is a dead tie between Rurouni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho. ((see above image, lmao!))
-School-
WI:
Now, I go to this really OLD school in WI, but they've built a new school, so I'll be goin there next year. ((-sigh- another new school.....)) I'm kinnda shy around people, so i dont have any friends yet, except these 2 sophmore guys in my Health class who are over-extremely nice to me ^_^. One of which, is even an AMV fan! My classes are easy ((well, i have taken them before....)) and the people are nice, even though they dont talk to me. Suprisingly none of my teachers are assholes, unlike the school I went to in SC.
SC:
I used go to this really shitty school in South Carolina. I had lots of friends of all different kinds. Like, some are punks while others are preps. I DON'T hang out with cheerleaders though. They are just too annoying! I'm not really classed anything...like the other day I wore an Aeropostal shirt with some really punk pants with chains. I don't believe that the way you dress should limit a person's insight of you, so I just wear whatever's comfortable. ^_^ Even though I have lots of friends, I prefer to listen rather than talk, so they don't really know a lot about me, and none of them know about my anime obsession. I'm not afraid of their reaction, because I trust them not to immediately think "Nerd!" if I told them. You know, I don't get that....Why would somebody poke fun at another just because they love anime? That's like saying somebody's a geek just because they like the color red! o.0??
-Life-
Is pretty good for the moment. Even though I dont have too many friends, I know I'll get the courage to talk to some of them one of these days. I know this may sound like I need a life, but my life changed soo much when I got into anime! I have lots of hobbies, and more insight to different people, which has actually gotten me more friends. ^_^ I have something to look forward to everyday. And as someone once told me, "As long as you have something to look forward to, nothing can kill you. ^_^ " ((corny yes, but i like it, so wtf, ^_^?))
FUNNY STUFF!! ^_^
Some examples of why the human race has probably evolved as far as possible. These are actual instruction labels on consumer goods...
On Sears hairdryer:
Do not use while sleeping.
(Gee, that's the only time I have to work on my hair!)
On a bag of Fritos:
You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside.
(The shoplifter special!)
On a bar of Dial soap:
Directions: Use like regular soap.
(and that would be how?)
On some Swann frozen dinners:
Serving suggestion: Defrost.
(But it's 'just' a suggestion!)
On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert: (printed on bottom of the box)
Do not turn upside down.
(Too late! you lose!)
On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding:
Product will be hot after heating.
(Are you sure? Let's experiment.)
On packaging for a Rowenta iron:
Do not iron clothes on body.
(But wouldn't that save more time?)(Whose body?)
On Boot's Children's cough medicine:
Do not drive car or operate machinery.
(We could do a lot to reduce the construction accidents if we just kept those 5 year olds off those fork lifts.)
On Nytol sleep aid:
Warning: may cause drowsiness.
(One would hope!)
On a Korean kitchen knife:
Warning: keep out of children.
(hmm...something must have gotten lost in the translation...)
On a string of Christmas lights:
For indoor or outdoor use only.
(As opposed to use in outer space.)
On a food processor:
Not to be used for the other use.
(Now I'm curious.)
On Sainsbury's peanuts:
Warning: contains nuts.
(but no peas?)
On an American Airlines packet of nuts:
Instructions: open packet, eat nuts.
(somebody got paid big bucks to write this one...)
On a Swedish chainsaw:
Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands.
(Raise your hand if you've tried this...)
On a child's Superman costume:
Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly.
(Oh go ahead! That's right, destroy a universal childhood belief.)
LaTeR ^_^
