  • Profile: Born in 1966, I consider myself an "old-school" anime fan. Sure, I'd watched plenty of shows when I was a kid, but had no idea that I was watching anything that wasn't American. All that changed when I went to college, and I've been an obsessive fan ever since.

    As far as music videos go, I've been making them since 1995. At present, I've made 10, all of which have been shown at Otakon, my home convention. The first 8 were done using the two VCR method (such madness!) until I moved into the digital realm in 2000 (more madness!). I'm a perfectionist, constantly trying to come up with something better than before. I always work with someone else when making a video. I find that my work's a lot better when I've got another opinion, or simply someone there to tell me that an idea sucks.

    While I do love music videos, I'm also trying to branch out into other projects. My friends and I have already completed one fan parody, and hopefully there will be many more.
