I'm alive! Just been so busy, and what not. Life sure does fly by! I've been working hard on this, and finally finished it. I'm not super happy with the last part, but I lost the editing files when my HD crashed, it's all in the description. But I had to use a low quality already published file, and republish it....
My description:
I have been working long and hard on this video...and then my HD crashed, and I lost the actual editing file. So I happened to have a published previous version (I periodically publish my AMVs to watch the flow, etc without the lags and etc) so I ended up using that. It was supposed to be in 720 pixels too...so please excuse the quality.
The anime is D. Grayman, soon to be released here in the US by Funimation (can't wait, at least it's coming out in box sets (a total of four)...at the end of the month!). It was made more for fans of the series, but hopefully will be an enjoyable watch for everyone.
Short take on the story: a shonen anime, with beautiful art, D. Grayman takes place in an alternate historical time period and is about Excorists who are from the Dark Order. Their job is to fight the Akuma (demons) with their weapons made from Innocence. They battle the demons and aim to defeat the Millenium Earl (the top hat guy with Crazy TEETH) and his humans the Noah.
The characters highlighted are Allen Walker (silver haired boy, with the red eye) who is the main character in the story. He is a very stubborn and way too gentle hearted young one.
Kanda is the blue haired man with the sword. He is arrogant, and always sure of himself.
Lavi is the red headed one with the eye patch who reminds me a lot of Son Goku from Saiyuki. He is very laid back, and is generally the optimist amongst a group of pessimists.
Krory makes a short appearance, and he is the old Vampire looking one. While he is much older than the rest, he is actually much younger in experience since he has lived his whole life with no outside contact until he becomes an Exorcist.
Lenalee is the only girl, and she is like the treasured big sister in the series (so lucky!). She can hold her own in a fight though, and don't make her mad.
As for the AMV itself, I worked hard on the sync. I synced it mainly with lyrical sync, followed then by musicality sync when there was no lyrics. There are some places where I used more effects than normal (black flashes, negative flashes) and I'm hoping that it all came out alright. I used more effects in this AMV than all my others combined I'm sure. Yes, there was some lip sync, but it doesn't match as well due to having to recreate the AMV from a published one, and trying to rematch the audio (not easy), so now it's more like lip flap...but only in one place, I promise.
And I apologize for the end...but I was in a time crunch!
I hope to revisit this video and possibly try again!

Thanks...I worked hard on this. Still not of fan of the last 30 seconds, I was still tweeking it before it died in my HD. As far as effects, I never used much anyways...this one had more than all my other videos. Most of the effects were types of fades. It was made in WMM, so not too many effects there and any extra ones I've had to download and install...like the negative flash.Derudo wrote:i like this video.. .nice dynamic... i dont know the story of anime then for me this is only good action video... and nuthin much more... synchro is ok.. video is just good (and effectsless - sometime when i watch it i think "hmm.. this is perfect place for black&white effect, here montion, moving screen... whatever...
