as for the intro... yes it's a sensitive topic.. but i don't think i could've got my concept down the way i wanted to with out it. the video isnt supposed to be "awww it's a drama video". it's supposed to spark some kind of emotion... and if the concept is a sensitive one to the viewer... my job is done

also, as i was telling some in the chatroom... the video isn't about 9/11, you could say... i use audio from it and other events to get the veiwer thinking. it's not just the US, not just Great Britin, not just Spain, not just China, not just Iraq, not just (insert nation here) who has tragedies on thier soil. but for some reason, only when they do happen do people realize what's going on elsewhere.
kinda lost what i was trying to say... ummm next topic...
bringing real-life events into amvs... why not? if you think of amvs as being an outlet for one's creativity/emotions/thoughts, then msot amvs are pretty much just that. not to mention, i would have to say most amvs that have a story to them would consitute as being a real life event, cause they are. most stories are real events that are told to people. i could tell a story how i went to the store yesterday and reserved a copy of HL2 and turn it into an amv... same could go for an editor who just went through a rough time with his girlfriend/boyfriend or lost a family member and wants to use those emotions and thoughts to make a drama video about the same topic.
thanks again for the comments, i appreciate em
