My old ones hurt my ears, they had a habit of zapping me. O:

I watch some vids on my ipod, but generally I don't use it for AMVs.

No headphones for me, I'm either showing them to friends or just working in my room in shich case no one is around to even hear it. The only time I'll use headphones is late at night because the noise keeps people up. Especially with the nasty subwoofer I have.

Headphones hurt my ears like heck! But that's because they have 20 holes in them, not the sound ^^;;

I heard my Sennheiser HD570 are one of the most comfortable headphones there is (I find them quite comfortable myself) - but it depends what time it is whether I use it or not. I tend to edit with it though, because I cannot hear the details through speakers.

So... will this be another "cribs" thread?

my setup: http://www.leiseus.net/crib4.0 - not done though as I'm too lazy to learn AJAX

My speakers aren't even hooked up right now, so I use my headphones for everything. I usually watch them in full screen. My first video was edited with speakers, but that's mostly because I didn't have a good pair of headphones at the time. Oh and I keep amvs on my iPod, and I watch them in public. Nobody's come up and asked me anything about them, not like I'd really care if they did.

Usually I view them as fanworks that I had fun making and am proud of. Nothing particularly groundbreaking, but I try to make them the best I can.

Was that intentionally hilarious? :lol:

Not that I don't agree with it of course...
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

x2
X3!

I didn't realize this for a long time though, now I have some vids that some people find to be oddly synched because they never watched them with headphones on.
aw crap, i always edit with my headphones on, i always listen to amvs with my headphones on as well, crap, my laptop has horrible speakers so i dont listen to anything with them but it never occured to me that other people might not have good sound systems when watching my amvs, i should take that into account in the future.

Actually they're quite expensive headphones - they have a fancy little built in microphone attached to them. Looks like something a radio dj would have. I just have sensitive ears. Too many years working in factories with and without earplugs.

If you're really worried about it, you could always put a note in your vid description recommending headphones. I don't *like* headphones, but I'll use them if I know the vid won't be as good without them.

Doesn't that usually have the opposite effect on ears though?
