Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

My first suggestion would be to upload this video directly to the site, since site members are traditionally lazy and don't like going through more steps than they have to in order to watch videos. ^_~
My second suggestion would have been to clean up the video quality with Avisynth. Those black bars should have been cropped off - it saves on filesize and makes your video easier to compress. A nice deen filter might have helped, too. More on that in the AV Tech guide.
Even though this video had a very good sense of beat sync, the real trouble is that you're using a seven minute song with a two hour movie. It gets to be a LOT of the same scenes that everyone has already seen in a million and one videos before. It's just not the kind of thing that keeps your interest. Overall, this is a decent video, but it's lacking originality. I got it because I like Tool, and it's worth getting if you're a fan.
Keep on editing. You're off to a good start.

Thank you for your comment and thank you for the tech guide! I really needed it because I always have troubles with the quality and other technical issues.dj_ultima_the_great wrote:My first suggestion would be to upload this video directly to the site, since site members are traditionally lazy and don't like going through more steps than they have to in order to watch videos. ^_~

I'll try to keep that in mind while I'm editing. Actually, I should really plan the video beforehand. I never really think of it before editing and the result might be really random or unoriginal (like you said)
And yeah, I'll keep on editing. Thanks!

Yeah.. Originality = My weak spot.. Aw, don't worry. I got bored too while I was watching ityumi+chan wrote:The video is nice, the music and the video fit together quiet nice, BUT it is much too long and I'm sorry to say that I got a bit bored towards the end.
And well it isn't very original, it is just like most of the other FFVII AC AMVs
But it's a nice video though^^
