A little late to the trigger, but since silver_moon's video got me started on the series, I felt like I should finish it before I watched yours.
Anywho, my compy's a bit slow, so I got the XviD for this. It still looked very nice. As for the video itself... probably not my favorite of yours, but it's easy to see that this is still going to be one of the best Haruhi videos out there. I agree that making a romance video out of this series is definitely more difficult, since it isn't even until the last few episodes that you really get any footage that works well for that premise. Still, I think you did well with what you had. All in all, I think I'm more of a "Sharada" fan than a "4ever" fan, but both videos are staying in my collection no doubt.
As for the lipsync... I'm not gonna comment on it because it didn't really bother me, to be honest. Yeah, I could tell that it was off in some spots, but I guess I'm just not as particular about that sort of stuff.
Everyone else pretty much summed up any other thoughts I might have had on this video, so I'll leave it at that. Hmm... I guess these weren't very useful comments, reading back on them. Regardless, nice work.

Yea, I think I agree I like Silvermoon's song better than 4ever. especially since I've grown tired of it after editing to it for so long ;p Funny I have listened to "God Knows" way more times than 4ever still, and never grow tired of it. that is a true master peice of a song right there. Might even use it for an amv later.
thanks for the comments.

Waitwaitwait, I missed the party here! Almost!
Very nice. I don't think that's the best of your work technically or compositionally, but I can tell you had fun doing this. For a video that's supposed to shamelessly abuse 'live concert' footage, it seemed to keep up a central idea well. And that's saying something, considering I haven't watched the anime and don't know the whole deal with those two.
Now I demand more Haruhi videos before I cave in and go watch the series!
(not from you, I think you've done your job well here and set an example to follow)

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I thought this one was very nice. On par with Moon's vid but this one had me more interested. I loved the clips used on the end of the song and also the parts where you had Haruhi screaming loud with the song. With those amazing visual effects you do, it looked amazing. Felt like I was watching a trailer for the show, and a very good one at that. The lipsync was very questionable but I can tell you put in effort and effort counts. My favorite Haruhi vid on the site now

I pretty much agree with Rurounikeitaro. I like both videos, but I like this one a little better, because I keep watching it.

I wonder why I haven't replied to this yet. It's a very good piece of Haruhi at least for someone that has not seen the series yet. On one side I like the make up as some kind of live music video on the other side the lipsync is pretty bad, but the feeling this video delivers and the actual atmpsphere are very strong even though the editing has some flaws since you focused more on flow then on timing which seems more appropriate in the case of this video tough. Anyway I already added it to a playlist and it'll stay on my PC untill I have to reformate it.
