Nice action vid :)

Solid editing - as you always do - and technically flawless.
I liked how the "mood of the music", though changing a lot during the vid, gets along particulary well with the scenes you've chosen.

Very smooth editing, good timing, definatley not a bad video like you kept telling JCD.

It probably will be close at animecon since this video is again nothing like neo's and JCD's it's all a matter of taste I guess. Oh besides one of the organizers posted this on the animecon forum:
A lot of contribs looked nice. Overall, a LOT better then 2 years ago.
:D

We'll see I still have no confidence in terms of the contest when I go against Stephan and you ;). But I'm glad my doubts about this video being a complete faliure weren't justified.

Thanks for the comment. Good to see you still keep an eye on my works.
Tormentor wrote:Hehe you know my op on this ;). Okay well I must say that I have nothing to critisize in technical belongings, but you know that I wnted this thing to have much more flow ;). Anyways good video, I think it's a nice add to your former ones, and don't be in that mood considering acon, this might get really tight this year so let's just wait what is to come ;). Oh and thanks for granting me a special tahnks *bow*, but you know I do it likely ;).

Ach noch was, ähämm... was das outro angeht, denk mal über die Musik nach, die erinnert mich an was.... :P
Yeah, I know that you think it's a decent video, and you know you're always a big help I guess you'll appear in most special thanks whatsoever ;).

Und das Outro ist Multiball, aber das war volle Absicht.

Thanks for the comment. Hehe, yes I like the variety of the song, one of the reasons why I chose that song and I hope I was able to keep up with the awesomeness of it.

Well untill now I'm still very eagering to see what you came up with so I hope that you'll win since none of the videos till now really blew my mind. But it's better then most videos last year (/me thinks about Bad Boys). btw. any idea if Ian will be judging again ?

Don't expect too much, I haven't made a video in almost 2 years and I feel like a fossil :P. I think that technically JCD's, Niotex's and your video's are far superior to mine. I hope mine will score points on editing style and concept...

BTW. You don't even want to know how many times I had to watch bad boys to check if all the encoding stuff was right. At a certain moment I wanted to pull my eyes out.

BTW2. I invited Ian to judge since I figures he'd be as impartial as they come. I doubt the convention staff contacted him again. I think they're going to have 3 live judges on stage who provide feedback (which I think is a bad idea since it really slows down the show). They did this in the years before I organized the event as well...

BTW3. Tormentor, are you going to acon aswell, or not?

Nice! Being a Macross Zero fan (even just for the eye candy with planes), I approve.

Ironically, I actually thought the video was overedited in places - well, maybe that's me projecting my own perspective as an editor here. Still, there were places, especially some of the more purely plane-focused parts in the middle, which just flat-out rocked.

Thumbs up, I'm going back to play my flight sims :)
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Yep, he's coming along with JCD, Niotex and me.

Well you're video was the first Macross amv I ever saw and it's still one of the most played videos in my playlist so it's a special thing to read such a comment from you.

Well I guess you saw most of the progress so also the parts I had to redo entirely thus you know why I don't like it altough the outcome seems to please most people around here.

I don't think I've been swayed so much with an AMV by not knowing the song. For the first 20-30 seconds started out pretty slow so I wasn't really getting into it. But then the music picked up and this turned into one awesome action vid. I was thouroughly blind-sided by how great this vid turned out to be. The best thing this vid has is intensity in the footage to match the music, whenever the music got harder the stuff on-screen started blowing up and that's always a good thing. Keep up the great editing!
