You know what? I think you should learn the basics of ripping footage before you start calling people lazy for using the editing program of their choice. I spent half a year on a video using wmm that would have been a thousand times quicker and easier and
lazier if I'd had access to Premiere. It might be an easy program to use, but that doesn't make up for it being a more difficult program to use if you're trying to get something out of it that it wasn't designed to do.

Why? I never produced to wmv when I used wmm. I didn't use mpg and xvid to try and hide the fact that I used wmm, either. I put the editing program right there in the vid description just like people using Premiere put the version they use. I don't think using wmm is anything to be ashamed of. That's really insulting.

Are you trying to kill multi-anime vids? They're already rare since it's so tedious and difficult to rip so many dvds now that editing with vobs is commonplace. It is possible to use various sources and preprocess each one so the final video has perfectly fine quality without any issue of conflicting aspect ratios - that's where the cropping and resize options in avisynth and vdub come in. I happen to like multi-anime vids, making them, but especially watching them. I'm not alone, either. Just look at the vca winners this year.
...totally agree about limiting lip-flap, though. That's been discussed in a few threads if you want to search the gen-amv section. Seems the verdict was half and half. Odd as it might sound, some people think it's natural to have a video show instrumental scenes where there's nothing moving except the character's flapping lips. It's a pet peeve of mine, but still just a difference of opinion.
