These people piss me off as quick commenting is anonymous and yet they feel the right to do nothing but tell you what you did wrong, with as much righteousness as they can muster.
If you are upset with a video, suck it up and post a real comment with your name and everything instead of hiding behind yourself-righteous misplaced indignity.
Nobody takes a "ranter" seriously anyway. Go rant in your live journal, the reason it's there.

I don't care. Stop whining. What would you do if they left a big detailed opinion telling you how bad you vid sucks with no advice other than give up AMVs and take up quilting? Would you retaliate? Flame them? cry and fuss like you're doing now? Face it, they probvably gave quick ops because it's easier than giving a 2000 word essay on everything yuo did wrong, and now you can't retaliate and flame them in return.

Look, Rorania, the people who critiqued your video don't need to suck it up, you need to suck it up. Be a man/woman and take the damned criticism, and if you think its unfair, then just goddam ignore it. It's not like any else sees the quick comments anyway.

There's a big difference between flaming and constructive criticism. Having others point out your mistakes in a constructive manner can only help you in the long run because (hopefully) you'll learn from the mistakes and become a better editor.
But I guess the bottom line is that if you really don't like the QCs...then ignore them. Or do what I do when I get a flame (and just so we're clear, I consider a flame something along the lines of "That sucked." - when that's *all* they write)...laugh it off and strive to do better next time.
