I typically have at least 2 going at once, just because my A.D.D. won't let me work on just one project. LOL I've had up to 4 running at one time in various stages of completion, but my hard drive was beggin me for mercy at that point, so I try to keep it at a maximum of 2.
I also have a notepad list of concepts...right now there's about 10 ideas on it for this year, including ideas for a couple of remakes.

I've been keeping a list since I first started using the .org forums. I highlight the idea in red once it's finished...currently, I have one red idea and over one hundred plain black ones... ~_~
I don't work on more than one at a time. I have a few projects saved...like, I would put the music in the timeline and say, "alrighty, let's call it a day" and never look at it again - but that's about it. I have a number of ideas that I would really like to do right now, but I'm missing some of the components I need to do any of them, so I'm occupying myself with 'practice' videos and 'shorties' until I can do something. Even then, I only finish about two (maybe three) videos a year.
I have yet to scrap a project that I've started just because I didn't like it. I've lost a project due to a technical failure, but any ideas that I've actually started, I have followed through on.
So, the basic answer is "no" - no multiple projects for me. I'm a one video kinda girl.

I have space for multiple projects, but I only work on one project at a time. I wonder why I even got more space.Rozard wrote:I used to only have space for one project at a time. Now, I have space for multiple projects, most of which I procrastinate horribly on

For me I just work on 1 project at a time although I did start a Rahxephon music video last year but got stuck on it so I then just started on another music video which was my Chrono Crusade music video with the song "Addicted" by Kelly Clarkson.
Right now that music video is still unfinished and I don't think I could finish it now because my ideas for that music video just vanished from my mind. Although I am just going to keep the unfinished project if I ever finally want to finish it and if I get my ideas back.
As for harddrive space I don't have to worry about it. I have like 3 harddrives in my computer, which are a 60 GB, 160 GB, and a 300 GB harddrive. Yeah thats a lot of gigabytes. lol. So if I ever wanted to I could do multiple projects although I don't because I focus all my ideas on just one project.
For when I find a song that I like, I play it over and over trying to figure out what anime that would go with it and when I figure out what anime to use I picture some scenes from the anime that would go with the lyrics to the song. For the effects I try to vizualize that too on what effects I could use that would go with the music. Sometimes I do it the other way watch a anime and then try to find a song to use and then use the same concept of pictureing scenes from the anime that will go with the lyrics.
Its a pretty complicated thing for me sometimes, especially when I get in certain moods. I have gotten into moods that I feel like not making anymore music videos and sometimes when I do find a song and anime that I want to use to make a music video I don't feel like making it. Although I still get my ideas back and then get in a better mood thinking "Hey I can do this, I can start making music videos again" I usually get in those bad moods when I finish a music video because when I am done with a music video I try to think what I can do next. I am sure that happens to everyone and also Artists probably get like that too. Its pretty tough when it happens to me. I just get so frustrated. Well that is all I have to say. Wow this is a long post...lol. Laterz.
