It gives me warm fuzzies all over, or is that warm squishies? Very heart warming, though audio compression would have been nice.

 hehe im using that wallpaper atm...

ontopic: You have no idea how much alike this is to my elfenlied beta I made a year ago but never finished hehe. This makes me wanna remake my beta and actualy finish it tho. I liked the mood setting tho I highly disagree with your way of editing seeing as its just to straight forward or something i donno... Also the point that you basicly only used the first episode strikes me as a disapointment. The beat sync that you used was in my opinion to simple I donno i guese I missed the feeling of the beat.

oke now for all that shit onto technical stuff - clearly downloaded source and not filterd propper =( it makes for those funky lines and colors when you distore a shame realy... Also aspect Ratio is fucked over... so far i know elfenlied is 16:9...

Other then that all and all enjoyable video cause im a elfen lied fanboy i guese... nice mood setting tho it suffers from quality and editing skills (no offence but that is just my opinion)

6,5/10

And im a hard one to please :)

I have that affect on people and that make me glad honestly. Whether it was because it inspired you or you were thinking, "She sucks I could TOTALLY do that better" I think it's keen I at least have an affect on some viewers.

Well my editing style can't please everyone and obviously you were not pleased and there's not much I can do about that ^.^. But for reference I used the first episode for the simplicity of the song, it's only a little over 2 minutes long with no lyrics. If you add too many episodes you'd make it overly complicated and thus un-understandable by anyone who hasn't seen Elfen Lied. For mising the beat....once again that'd be you not being into my editing style and something I can't do much about lol.

Uhhhh iunno what to say about this really, I'm not a technical junkie or anything. I just know the video was compiled with a 4:3 ratio and played as such on my Windows Movie Player, RealPlayer & VLC player. As for it being downloaded footage, I don't see a different that it makes. But I also don't see why people make a big deal about AMVs being in .WMV sooooo, yeah lol.

Well, I've always liked this song, and I've also always believed that it was a very easy piece to edit to beatwise. Now, mood, that's another story. Literally. >_>

Anyway, you did pretty well on both of those aspects (although you seem to like that static screen "effect"; I remember seeing it in "Diclonius" as well). There were times when you could have synched a little better, but, at the same token, I noticed that you were trying for internal sync in some parts. I admit, I am kinda sick of seeing the first episode over and over in AMVs, but that's just my personal thing. Video quality was...meh, and the filesize was pretty big for a two and a half minute video.

Beyond that...this really reminds me of a Lain video I saw once (to the same song). This one, to be exact. Consider that a compliment, because I enjoyed that one quite a bit.

All in all, good job. Another solid video from you.

It's essencially Diclonius II :). And the text that flashes up are different words that describe Lucy... and I've been meaning to experiment with text in an AMV so I there it is lol.
