Quick coments

You know, I've gotten quick comments out the wahzoo ever since they made them, and thus far I've only received one even bordering on negative. Perhaps, maybe your AMVs.... well, you know, aren't very praiseworthy?

Yes, Zarx. I am reading what he says, but you know what? Some people are just jackasses. For them, insulting Dalto is the same as insulting his video. It does suck, and I feel sorry for him - really I do - but that's the way it is. Some people don't know how to use "I" language. They only know "you" language. I do agree with your second thought, though. Dalto, it's best not to let it get to you. Some folks just don't differentiate between video and creator very well. Besides, chances are at least one of them is godix, so you shouldn't take 'em too seriously.

I also agree with the idea of a delete function for the comments. I mean, think of something like Euphoria. I can't imagine how many QC's that thing must have by now. It'd be nice for Koop to be able to get rid of the "AWESOME" comments and just keep the constructive criticism - not that his video needs any more, but roll with me here. I'm just using it as an example, since pretty much everyone knows that video. The same applies to pretty much any creator. Yeah, the "k1ck@$$!" comments are nice, but they just add up to clutter.

Dalto - do you think something like that would help maybe?

All in all, I'm still opposed to adding names in, and I always will be. Refer to my first post for the reasons why.

ok if not adding names what about like some kinda a filter like you can titel you quick coments and you set you filter to fillter out certen titels like spam or insults?

I do too. It'll keep the weak-willed from whining, which will free us from more topics like this.

Though, I don't think it should delete; it should just hide. That way, you don't lose anything.

Just for the record I don't think I've commented on one of dalto's vids. Yet. If his 'god called in sick today' video makes me sick this will probably change.

I don't think anyone needs to waste time coding in deleting quick comments. Treat them like ops, if you don't want to hear how badly you suck then don't read the damned things.

If you don't want to hear how badly you suck then don't read the damned things? Alright... let's not have them at all then, because if I want to read good QCs about my videos and a ton of really offensive flames show up, I have no choice, now do I?

My recent videos have come under unfriendly fire without decent explanation. I find my videos to be decent, perhaps the earlier ones not so much... but as of late, my better videos have been receiving hurtful QC which I have no means of tracking.

I would like this site to remove the QC option unless we can track those who abuse it by leaving flames.

Well if I'm getting flamed it's obvious because my videos suck? No, I'm sorry. Many of them could be better, but I was a beginner when they were poor and I've been improving, just as everyone does.

There is no excuse for some of the tripe getting flung at me.

I have left you with QCs left on my videos. This alone should be reason enough to edit the QC option.

The org isn't here to boost your ego and it isn't here to protect you from the harsh world. People can and do say they don't like your videos. Either deal with it or don't read the QCs.

Besides, your problem isn't with QCs. If someone wanted they could tell you that you suck in an opinion, a PM, a forum message, or email. And those are just the easy ways of doing it, I'm sure I could think of more exotic methods if I tried Coming soon, Dedicated to whiners. Your problem is that you just want to hear how great you are and don't like it if someone dares disagree, not the QC system.

That's not it at all. I want to hear constructive criticism if people think I can improve. Constructive means I get helpful feedback on how to improve. I have problems with useless insults that don't help me at all.

I'm sorry... "bitching"? I have a valid reason for my "bitching" thanks. My videos have been seriously undermined by insults and I have every right to be upset. This does not qualify as bitching as I have explained my anger. If you cannot differentiate, that is your own problem.

Plus, this is a forum topic about Quick Comments. I have every right to talk about QCs here. Thanks. You can go now.
