- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

Atrocious audio editing ruined it for me. If you're going to make something look good, you should at least take a tiny little bit of extra time to make it sound good. The size of the video alone (500mb) is ludicrous.
The strangest thing is that the audio is uncompressed, allowing me to analyze the frequency cutoff, that is if there is any frequency cutoff... which there shouldn't be on uncompressed audio unless it was decoded from an mp3.

That's a frame of audio at about 17:18 into the project. This cutoff is indicative of mp3 compression. So, why did I have to waste 200mb of my bandwidth on mp3 quality audio that should have been in the neighborhood of 35-40mb when properly compressed?
tl;tstr: Your project sucked.

So YYH has less balls than Lain? That makes no sense to me, I'd say if anything Yu Yu Hakusho has more balls, its just the scenes he chose, the first movie wasn't that hardcore, I would have stuck with the more serious parts of the series.Beowulf wrote:I really didn't like Prince Majin Trunks' contributions at all. All the animes in his parts didnt fit. Yu Yu Hakisho? Its fucking TOOL man, pick something with a little more balls.

Yep their parts were certainly the best, thats oldschool editing like it has to be.Beowulf wrote:Tsukin, Bote, and Xnod stole the show

Lain has so much more balls due to the awesome story and the allover content. YuYu Hashuko is more like DBZ or so.dacoolgohan wrote:So YYH has less balls than Lain? It's certainly oversized but I think it's worth it, altough the video doesn't seem to be compressed that good.JCD wrote:750 mb for 20 minutes? Sorry, no way.
Well, all in all it's not what I hoped for since it has some strong and some weak parts and I thought of it as the best MEP 05 but it's the same with every other MEP so I guess it turned out pretty cool in the end. I really have to say it once again that like Beowulf said it Tsukin, Bote and Xnod did some really awesome tracks there. I can just recommend it. Just dl it, if not just for the great music (nice audioediting btw.) then for their parts.
