They're Out to Get You - AWA Expo "Best Twisted"

Post by Bongu-san » Fri Sep 30, 2005 12:31 am

I apologize for the delay. I had some codec problems with my editing machine.
I was surpised to see my first AMV win an award. Hopefully, this is a sign of good things to come :)

Yeah... that was something really impressive for a first video, and I absolutely liked that one.
During the first seconds of it, I thought that the rhythm was lacking, but I didn't pay attention to it during the rest of the vid which completely stuck me. The editing was really good. You perfectly know how to choose the good scenes to emphazise the song. The flow was a really good as well, and it perfectly conveyed the atmosphere of Paranoia Agent. That was a great tribute to the show.

Keep up like that, it promises great things for the future !

I loved watching this. It's one of those amvs that makes you want to watch the used anime without delay! The music is great and fits perfectly.

Thank you for the complements. I worked on this video so much that I wasn't sure if it was any good.
During the first seconds of it, I thought that the rhythm was lacking, but I didn't pay attention to it during the rest of the vid which completely stuck me.
I basically ignored the drumbeat throughout this video because I wanted the video to emphasize the mood of the song. I did think about putting some foreshadowing elements in the intro for timing purposes. But I was afraid this would clutter up the intro and take away from the rest of the video.

I plan to experiment with rhythm in my next video.

By the way Roccket, I enjoyed, "Our Sick, Mad World". That is the best Paranoia Agent AMV I have seen yet.
