AWA Pro ("Fake"), Iron Editor Practice, + More...
Hi. I have some new videos for download. Just like everyone else post-AWA :P.
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=90524
Title: Fake
Artist: Dashboard Confessional
Song: "The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most"
Source: Kareshi Kanojo no Jijyo
Participation: AWA XI Professional (Nominated - Best Sentimental, Best Character Profile, Best Drama, Best Overall)
Format: XviD (DivX-5 compatible)
Filesize: 25.1 MB
Collaborative: w/ Meri
Notes: Everyone is "fake." People can put up a fantastic front, but sooner or later it's all going to come crashing down in front of your face (not to mention everyone else's) unless you learn to deal with it and come to accept yourself.

Title: "DragonBall GT" Commercial Parody
Artists: FUNimation Productions / Field of View
Songs: DBGT Dub Opening / "DAN DAN Kokoro Hikarete 'ku"
Source: DragonBall GT
Participation: AWA XI Panel
Format: MPEG-1
Filesize: 14.7 MB
Collaborative: Japanese text from Julian
Notes: If FUNimation is allowed to take retarded, cheap shots at a certain group of fandom in the name of marketing, I'm allowed to do the exact same thing in return :). Not many people will understand, but that's OK :P.

Title: Iron Editor Practice Video (2005)
Artist: Almost Better
Song: "Pieces of Me"
Sources: Kareshi Kanojo no Jijyo, Super GALS!, Kodomo no Omocha, Fushigi Yuugi, Fruits Basket
Participation: AWA XI Panel
Format: XviD (DivX-5 compatible)
Filesize: 15.1 MB
Collaborative: secret audio from Meri
Notes: In preparation for Iron Editor 2005, both Meri and I made videos in two hours. Our "secret ingredient" was that the other person pre-edited the audio, and the editor wouldn't know what that audio was until they actually sat down to edit for the two hours. Using the exact same shows Meri just used to make a fun, upbeat video, I was challenged to make a flat-out drama video.
I also threw up the commercial/parody for April Fool's 2004 that I did. It's nothing new, though. I would be greatly honored if anyone felt like checking any of them out. That's all that really matters to me :). Hope you have fun!

"Fake" was one of my favorite vids in Pro this year, it was an excellent take on the anime, was very tightly edited, and you guys made the footage look good enough that I was halfway convinced it might have been AbsoluteDestiny's video because of how clean the footage was. Excellent work!

I liked Fake alot. I know I voted it somewhere, just can't remember where. It wouldve been sentimental or character profile I think, I ended up splitting up videos I liked amongst categories, and made some adjustments to fit others in, so I can;t remember all the categories I voted all the videos I thought deserving under.
Anyways, Important thing is it was one of my favorites from the contest.

That's just a great collection of videos. I thoroughly enjoyed the lot of them. Pausing for a moment on the Dragonball GT parody, I haven't seen the commercial you've parodied, but it sounds annoying. The music was one of the few things I liked about GT. And considering I liked the fansubs alot more then the FUNimation dub, it makes your vid that much more enjoyable.
