    Hi! My name is Mike. I've been "into" anime since approximately 1996. I've been heavily into AMVs for the last several years, having initially been drawn in by the AMV contest at Otakon 2000.

    I should also mention I've been maintaining a "DragonBall" fansite since 1998. The current incarnation, Daizenshuu EX, currently resides at: www.daizex.com. There you'll find information on the series, news, a weekly podcast, and (of course) parallel information on all of these videos.

    The whole AMV scene for me started by viewing the (crap) AMVs that DBZ fansites would put out. I knew they sucked, but never really understood why. It wasn't until I downloaded a few videos by some (that will remain) un-named AMV creators that had GOOD videos that I started understanding precisely why they sucked.

    I guess it was when I met my girlfriend, Meri, that I began to dive into the actual production of AMVs. After getting to know Meri and her love for AMVs, we both began a growth process together with our productions. For the record... New Jersey has the best group of editors, both in terms of talent and general personal awesomeness. Just sayin'.
