Uhh...
DragonBall had been a worldwide phenomenon for years before FUNimation actually did anything with it in the US. To put it in perspective, by the time FUNimation actually did anything with the property, it was finishing its decade-long run in Japan (discounting GT, which ran from '95 to '97). It had been amazingly successful in Europe and Southern America (not to mention, obviously, general Asia) for quite some time...
Without turning your announcement thread into a general DB discussion, I find it pretty funny that you've got the complete opposite perspective on the show than the other people in this thread. Personally, I find FUNimation's production to be an absolute joke. They did a fantastic job selling it to kids up until about 2001, but then... poof... away went the Poke-money. There's a reason why it remains popular in other countries long after it's ended, though... and that's because they actually treated the show properly.
Bringing it back on topic, you really need to continue taking a step back and realizing exactly what it is you're saying and how you're saying it. It looks completely childish to make any sort of claim and then wah-wah-wah when someone says they don't like it. Forgetting about yourself for a second, how do you think that appears to the general public who otherwise may have wanted to check out your video? You've already acknowledged this, so that's a great start...
