"The Matrix" MVs

Little question, if the rules state that AMVs can be live action, then whats with all the Matrix videos uploaded to the servers. Are they exempt from the rule somehow, or do people just upload them without knowing this? I've been curious about this for a while, and is the main reason why I never uploaded mine. Thanks for the help!

Live action videos. May seem obvious but no videos where the footage isn't animated

Where exactly have you found a matrix video that breaks this rule? If the majority of the footage is live action and they simply put an anime into their video description to bypass the rules then that is something to post about here with a link to the video.

Are you sure those aren't Animatrix videos? To my knowledge (but don't quote me to it), those are allowed.

Stuff from the actual movies isn't, though.

I would assume that people who make videos using the Animatrix are smart enough to list it as "animatrix" instead of Matrix.

After conducting a search for Matrix all I find are a lot of various and Armitage videos. Anything typically listed with "the matrix" is either in a various video or also features the animatrix. Save for this one:

Hmm, I did just do a search, but I reember there being a loot of "Matrix" LA only videos on there, but now I dont see any. Were they deleted perhaps?

There's a lotta vids using the Trailer Audio from the Matrix, maybe you confused the source video with the audio or something.

O and if your interested in seeing a matrix vid I've got one on website.

This thread has sure illuminated some crazy video listings, someone definatly decided to experiment.
