Simple Moves

Anime: Key, the Metal Idol
Song: t.A.T.u. - Простые Движения

There's a bit of lyrical synching, character profile, storyline and action in it. It came out as quite a mix of categories. I know that this kind of music and editing might not be everyone's type of thing but for me originality was most important. Hope someone likes. :o :D

Well, I was defintely pleased with the last work of yours I saw (the Gravi video), so even though I haven't seen that anime, I'll be happy to watch this video. ^_^ *downloading* I'll get back to ya later.

Well I guess it's a very good video when it comes to editing and flow. Too bad I dislike the music and don't know the animesources you used. And to bad you didn't make it in time for the Connichi-Expo.

I agree with the previous posters, it's a quality video. People should really make more Key AMVs. I'm not a fan of TATU, which prevents me from rating this as total awesomeness. Solid 4 stars anyway. :)

Uhoh - it's nothing like the Gravi Video, so you might get disappointed, but I'm always grateful when people take the time to download my videos: thank you :)

I think I won't do another t.A.T.u. AMV, so you may look forward to videos with songs you can actually listen to from me without your ears bleeding ;) thank you too for the comment

Thanks. 4 stars are awesome enough for me ;) And yeah, Key might not be good if you want higher capture scores but it's definately an anime worth watching and doing videos to it even though it's this old.

Well, I'm the first to respond and the last to the party, but here I am. ^_^ My usual breakdown:

Stuff I Liked
- timing. This song, in general, has a very easy beat to follow, so basic beat sync should be no problem. However, you not only did that, but you also looked past it and gave attention to the lesser beats of the song. Not too much, and not too little. Well done on that.
- quality and resolution. I haven't seen Key, but everything seemed good with your image appearance. Nothing else to say on that...

Stuff I Was Iffy About
- also timing. It's weird for me to put something in two categories, but here it is. As I said, the song is very easy to follow the beat on, but there were points (particularly near the beginning) when the scenes ran a little long for my tastes.
- ending. You had about two clips that ran past the music. Remember, the first and last thing a viewer hears or sees is going to leave the biggest impression on him/her, so you should mind your video openings and endings. To be honest, the closing was a little lame. Maybe it would help if I knew the anime, but the energy just seemed to drop all of a sudden to nil at those last few seconds.

Stuff I Didn't Like
- the song. It grates on my ears. That's all, really.

Overall, this is a very nice video. Fans of Key, the Metal Idol will probably love this one. As for me, the editing is pretty, but the story is a bit lost on my mind. In this case, that's probably the best you're going to get from a non-fan. So, awesome job! ^_^
