  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Dance Dance Revolution Project 3: 4th Mix COMPLETE available

Post by Kusoyaro » Mon Sep 05, 2005 4:46 pm

Happy Labor Day!

Sorry it took so many years for this to happen, but the DDR 3 Project (4th Mix) is finally available for Local download!

NOTE: This is NOT the remaster that was promised a year ago...in fact, it's looking likely that that's never going to happen. This is the original version that we distroed right after it initially premiered. But it's not like the quality is bad or anything...it looks perfectly fine.

The rest of the DDR Projects WILL follow in the coming weeks...starting with DDR1, since that seems to be the one most people can't find. Just give me time :P

Enjoy!
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

w00t!

Thank Cod for college internet connections! Only nine minutes left on my download!

Seriously, though, I thank everyone who made this possible. It's awesome that the DDR videos can be available for everyone now, instead of those who happened to be around when the project was released.

^_^ ^_^ ^_^

I have to wonder how many people think I'm making a typo with "Cod"...I'd explain, but the story is long, so fuck it. :P

Same here!

Hmm, so people really want to see the first DDR Project, eh? Once that's out, the people can see some of the awesomeness of editing using VHS footage!

Hmm, now that I've watched the whole thing, I have to say that that's pretty cool. Okay, so that's an understatement, but you get my drift. It's the first DDR Project I've seen personally, and the execution of it was very beffiting of the games.

My favorite sections were probably Flux's Lain/"Night in Motion", and Vlad's My Goddess/"Young Forever". Brad's Perfect Blue/"Only You" section was both entertaining and disturbing, to be honest. I loved AD's Various/"Furuhata's Theme" just for the concept. It was a great video section to end with, I think.

The only thing that irritates me a little about DDR Projects are the sections that use multiple anime. Okay, for something like AD's video, it couldn't be helped, but just your random action/dance set to a DDR song section - with no reason to use multiple anime - it gets distracting. I must have seen the same Excel Saga clip about five times - same thing goes for Eva. Also, having one, unique anime with one, unique song is more engrossing. Considering the scale this project is done on, though, it's no surprise that I'd see repeats of scenes.

Anyway, great job to all those who did this, and I can't wait for the rest of them to come on Local!
