Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Video Review:
Well, like Corran said the file was messed up/weird.
But I was able to play it by renaming the file 'Hearts of a Mad Kingdom.wmv_IncompleteFile' to 'Hearts of a Mad Kingdom.wmv.' and play it in WMP10.
The video quality was poor, and the timing were off here and there throughout the AMV. There were some good scene selections that I liked, but contrarily some scene selections were too long and/or didnt quite execute a strong impact.
Tis' a mad world indeed.
Good job.

But its allowed footage here. Its not the source footage's fault.
Had post-it not had started an abrupt rant about the legalitites of AMVs, this would have never happened.
I know its allowed here, but someone didn't think that it was, thats why I wrote what I did.

heres my Opinion of the video:

Orginality: 7
Visual: 4
Sound: 8
Synch: 5
Effort: 10 (Its your first video, obviously you put SOME effort into it ;) )
Re-View: 5
Overall: 5

All that averaged out to 6.5

Good: You made good use of Windows Movie Maker's effects, some of the clips fit perfectly with the song/video.

Bad: The sound was less then CD quality, but that could be from the compression

The Video quality went from reasonable to very poor. Next time, don't use Downloaded footage, If you ever get the chance to use DvD footage with AMV's, don't pass it up.

General: Very good job for your first video. Keep up the good work, and don't listen to those guys on the forums.

Thanks much for the comments...
I really wanted to synch it well, but it did get messed up later when I started adding and delting scenes.

I would love to use DVD footage, but I have no clue how to get this, and my computer doesnt even have a dvd rom drive, nor will I have the money for one anytime soon.
