Well, I don't watch FoxBox anyways. So I guess I'll never be seeing a dubbed One Piece.

I personally hate most dubbed anime when they translate it into english language. It makes it worse. The gags(jokes) in the anime often gets mistranslated and misunderstood, and it doesnt make them funny as much. All the mistranslation/modification of the words makes it overall rather difficult for me to enjoy. I only like to watch anime with original japanese language used. But before everyone starts flaming me, this is just how I feel, because of influences such as knowing the language and background culture. And I know people who dont know the language cant help it, and its still enjoyable to them so let it be, theres no harm.

Hell I feel the same way when I see american movies getting dubbed into japanese language in japan, and it makes me crack up thinking how weird they sound speaking japanese in a american movie.

Ive seen some dubbed anime that werent bad at all though.

Agreed, but the thing they're arguing is who is doing the dubbing. 4Kids is notorious for butchering anime without a thought, and often won't even release the subbed version on DVD. Heck, according to this, Funimation's doing the DVD release for Shaman King--they may be working "with" 4Kids, but I doubt we'd get the uncut versions if Funimation didn't step in. They might not be the best licensing group out there *coughDBZcough* but at least they try to be fair to Otaku.

As far as I know, Saban does the foxbox crap. Hence the big 'Saban' loga at the end of every Shaman King an' Muscle episode.

An' I never heard any jokes about renaiming Naruto Nathan, it just sounded right.

Kinda makes you wonder what they'll do to One Piece though. Gonne suck hearing 'Ronnie Zoro' talkin about hitting everyone wit the blunt edge of his sword cuz he knows killing is bad.

Uh, I believe Saban used to own Fox Kids, but they later got bought out by 4Kids thus creating the Fox Box.
