i got a bad OP and im angery

well, i actualy feel more guilty and less angery, which is wierd. but anyway, i recently got a review for one of my vids ( the Execution of Asuka Langley Soryu ). for originality, visuals and sound i got 10. and it realy upset me. originality, ok a 10 isnt too overdone , but no way in hell that video deserved a 10 for video and audio. i also got a 9 for effort, despite stating that i had done the video from start to finish in about an hour. and i feel realy bad about this. why ? because it raises my score to a level which it shouldnt be at. i feel like im being spoilt, like im being praised for something i didnt do. i feel kinda guilty somehow, despite having absolutely nothing to do with the outcome of the score (well, some guy said he'd OP my video if i OP'd his. nothing els. barely any conversation ebtween us. and my OP of his video which i did a few days before he did mine, didnt paint much of a prety micture on his video )

Unfortunately there are a lot of people who just puts all 10s without even thinking. I get that too, and it feels like they dont give a fuck about the video. So the least they can do is not give a worthless piece of shit opinion. And ops arent supposed to be really used for "Lets have a op exchange deal." =(

well.. it is their opinion so i guess in their mind that's how it is. I think videos are more original then others, and other people disagree, can't fix that

Sometimes when I get scores like that, I leave a comment for them to think the scores over again and please change them.

I never did get those, and the brief ones I did get were genereally constructive enough.

Yeah, I know what you are talking about. I get those ops alot, and I wish I could get more constructive ops on my videos. One of my video has 9 ops, most being those type of comments, so now my video has a 9.29 rating, and I just feel that it doesn't diserve that high. I feel guilty too. But at I think of it this way, at least they liked it enough not to be constructive about it, its kind of a complement really, just not the type your looking for.

Seriously, this is pretty sad. alot of people complain enough about not getting ops and your sitting here complaining that someone just left you praise saying your video rocked!!!! wether its true or not they still have the right to say what they want. If thats to write you a 10 page report on why you're video rocked. just pat you on your back and say "good job!" or just get down on they're knees and offer you their first born offspring. then thats still THEIR FEEDBACK.

wanting to say something like (please reconsider) is wrong of you, it's like the being asshole superstar baseball player that will refuse to sign the cap that someones been holding in the blistering cold for 3 hours just so you can sign it just because they didn't have the SILVER sharpie. you have no right to ask someone to do that... you can ask to clarify their opinion but to reconsider it? thats just wrong..its better to just ignore it and keep walking than to tell them their existing opinion isn't good enough for you.

so the moral of the story is to shut up, smile and say thank you when someone just drops a note saying good job. wether you deserved it or not.

Hell I didn't think i deserved it for my first vid. but I still just told him that i was grateful that he even dropped an opinion let alone gave left some great remarks on it.
