Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

it was good and all but arent there NOT supposed any VGMVs on the .org?
THis is a free service and you should respect it. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you should take the local off. And leave the direct. Other than that it was great! Thnks for the link and I think Vegetto EX should know better.

Does this mean you can have 85% anime and 15% live action? :?

For example say you wanted to make an amv using an anime which has a live action version, can cut between them and blend them together?

I would say yes. The rules aren't meant to stifle creativity or artistic expression, but rather to give the site a sharper focus. As long as the videos we make have artistic value relevant to this site (anime) then I don't think there will be a problem with it. Of course, I'm but a humble creator with no authority here. In the end, it's all up to the site admins. They could decide DBZ was the only true anime and outlaw all other AMVs if they wanted to (read: were crazy).

Do you see VegettoEX ANYWHERE in this entire thread?

I certainly hope so, otherwise a certain very well made Otakon video will be excluded... :(

We know. You already posted about it in two other threads.

Please don't hijack other creators' announcement threads.
Let's get back on topic.

(I'd say something constructive, but I can't view videos until I get home in a week)

Actually that's why I really hesitated when I posted this...but I thought it was in the subject of the topic : what can is accepted and what is not. Because at first sight people could think Wonderful Days is, but...well I wanted to say it is not.

Sorry for me whining...it's not a thing I am used to do
