A New Video By Me
I just recently finished a video that I've been working on for a while and that means a lot to me. It's an emotional Goku tribute. Here's the link: For You. Check it out and tell me what you think.

This is definately the best tribute to Goku AMV that I've ever seen ^^
Act sync it's pretty good and the scenes choices were great
The capture quality, unfortunately it's blocky , but seems footage from DVDs , so I hope you encode your future vids with different codecs to don't lose capture quality with mpegs.
One more thing that I noticed in your old vids and this one , why the aspect ratio it's strange like this? I mean , the footage it's stretched

You might be setting the wrong aspect ratio when you encode the MPEG; it's possible to keep the resolution at 720x480 and still have the video stretched upon playback.Master_Gohan22 wrote:When I capture from the DVD thats what I get. I don't change the ratio anywhere. I Capture it from the DVD and make the video. The ratio stays the same from avi to mpeg too.
In TMPGEnc, the proper aspect ratio setting for NTSC source is "4:3, 525 lines (NTSC)".

Other then the obvious video problems, I have to say this is a well executed DBZ video. One of the rare occasions where someone told the story in chronological order and made the story of the Saiyan Saga/Namekian Saga (They might be the same thing in the original Japanese naming) the primary focus and made the timing secondary, but still right on. I'll give it a 7.9/10 because its the overall presentation of a video that counts which includes video and audio, in which, there were alot of hiccups in the video and a few in the audio.

yeah, definately a great tribute
with all the action there was during the fast parts, i was amazed to still see clips in the video that people haven't used before, great job
and needless to say, you captured Goku's character beautifully, i'm sure that the way you portrayed Goku is the same way that DBZ fans see him, and that's why they enjoy the series (me included
)
i give a 5 out of 5 stars... op will have to wait til i get home (at skule right now, heh heh)
